On June 10, PERFORM and its sister project LIBERATE held a webinar entitled Organic Electrochemistry: Towards the electrification of the European Chemical Industry in 2030.
For four hours, attendees were able to receive the most updated innovations performed by the two projects, and invited speakers provided their vision on the electrochemical industry challenges for the future.
From her side, Angels Orduna, Executive director of ASPIRE spoke about PROCESSES4PLANET: Towards the next generation of process industry, while Prof. Dr. Siegfried Waldvogel from the Department of Chemistry of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz provided an overview of Electro-organic Synthesis as 21st Century Technique.
Representatives from Evonik, SINTEF, TNO, Avantium, VITO, University of Graz, and the University of Messina also showcased their state-of-the-art technologies and innovative developments towards a greener industry.
