The PERFORM consortium has worked on the engineering and design of the platform. These activities were carried out by Hysytech and started with the collection of the information provided by the partners and ended with the finalisation of the detailed engineering package.
The engineering package itself includes the piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID), the safety analysis (HAZOP), the specification lists of the elements (equipment, instrumentation, and valves), the electrical and automation system design and the mechanical design.
In addition, the electrolysis and electrodialysis units are currently being manufactured in the Hysytech workshop. Subsequently, the two units will be installed and commissioned at TNO’s facilities, where, together with the rest of the DSP units, the TRL6 test campaign will be carried out.
