Celebrating Success: PERFORM Project’s Final Event

In a triumphant culmination, the PERFORM project marked the successful conclusion of its mission to reduce the environmental impact of the chemical industry. The Final Event took place on the 23rd of November 2023, in the Auditorium dell’Ente Cassa di Risparmio in Florence, Italy. The hybrid event attracted 27 online attendees and 30 individuals present in person. Partners, stakeholders, and experts gathered to witness the milestones and achievements attained after nearly five years of dedicated efforts.

PERFORM Workshop ‘CO2 Reduction in the Chemical Industry’ in Delft

Gathering at the TNO facilities in Delft, the workshop “CO2 Reduction in the Chemical Industry.” was held bringing together PERFORM members and students.

INSTM showcases PERFORM at MEDNIGHT 2022

On September 30, PERFORM was present at the event MEDNIGHT 2022, the Mediterranean Night for Researchers, held at the Rectorate of the University of Messina.

In this session, Rosalba Passalacqua, Associate Professor of Industrial Chemistry at the University of Messina in Italy & Consortium INSTM UdR Messina (CASPE laboratory) gave a presentation about the project’s achievements to date.

PERFORM at the Electrochemistry 2022 conference

TNO, as PERFORM’s project coordinator and responsible for the system platform innovation, attended the Electrochemistry 2022 conference.

Held from September 27 to 30 in Berlin (Germany).

The conference, organised by the German Chemical Society, accepted the lecture entitled Scaling up electrochemical production of biobased maleic acid.

PERFORM presents a lecture at the International Society of Electrochemistry Conference

Roman Latsuzbaia, Scientist at TNO, attended from September 12 to 16, the 73 edition of the International Society of Electrochemistry Conference, held in an online format.

Over there, Roman was in charge of showcasing the presentation Scaling up electrochemical production of biobased maleic acid, developing further part of the work carried out as part of PERFORM’s system platform innovation tasks.

PERFORM, a face-to-face meeting after two and a half years

The PERFORM consortium partners were able to finally meet in person again after two and a half years of the pandemic.

Hysytech as host member received the project members in Turin, Italy June 30 and July 1.

During those two days, all the organisations were able to present the advancement on their different tasks: feedstock platform analyses, electrode and system platform Innovation, techno-economic and market analyses and exploitation.

Likewise, three technical workshops were organised addressing intellectual property management, the platform’s innovation and pilots under development, as well as PERFORM’s process assessment.
